Life Drawing class to get you moving!
In this month’s Guest Series, we invite Darcy Muencrath. Darcy will go over some of the fundamentals of drawing like paying close attention to what you’re looking at and negative space; things that people often overlook. He will help any artist approach drawing in a more fluid and gestural way, pulling away from the binary of look/draw and guide you into more of an observe/create mindset.
Instructor:
Darcy Muencrath graduated from Alberta College of Art and Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) in 1995. Darcy is a visual artist and cinematographer who balances his work in film with selected illustration projects.
Darcy has been working as an artist for over twenty years, participating in solo and group exhibitions. Their artwork has been featured in children's books, medical books, advertising campaigns, and on wine labels. Darcy is passionate about exploring the intersection of illustration and cinematography, creating pieces that blend these creative disciplines.
